Assembly instructions
Preparation:
1. Remove any old holders, then clean the bumper and number plates to prepare for installing the new holders.
- Clean the bumper surface.
- Wipe the inner side of the plates.
2. Determine which screws from the set will securely attach the magnets (shorter screws are included if needed).
3. Place a washer or adhesive padding under the magnet to prevent scratching the bumper, especially if the holder attaches directly to painted surfaces.
IMPORTANT!
- Magnets are fragile—handle with care!
- Do not overtighten or use electric tools.
- Magnets can withstand up to 3Nm of torque.
Assembly:
- Place a washer on the back of the magnet.
- Insert the screw through the magnet with the washer.
- Attach the magnet with the screw to the bumper.
- Check that the magnets are secure and do not move/wobble.
- Attach the provided holders onto the magnets
- Peel the backing off the double-sided adhesive tape.
- Position your number plate where you want it (ensure it’s straight before pressing firmly, as the adhesive is very strong).
- After a few minutes, remove the plate and press down along the entire holder to reinforce the adhesive bond.
- Allow the adhesive tape to set before using the holders. The assembly should be done in a controlled indoor environment to ensure proper adhesion.
Note: You may need to adjust the holders depending on the mounting area, vehicle body lines, or pre-existing larger mounting holes.
